Patch notes

What changed.

Everything shipped on Attempt since the first build, dated, newest first — nothing here is planned, promised or coming soon.

  • Coaching

A coached lifter can now bring their own spreadsheet in without paying for anything, so the handover card on their Program tab says From a spreadsheet rather than Solo on Attempt unless they hold Solo. Bring into your programming works the same either way.

  • Coaching

A program can be handed across, once, in either direction — a coach brings an athlete’s own blocks into their programming, and a lifter whose coaching has ended takes the coach’s over. The plan is copied; logged sets never move.

  • Coaching

Send this week turns that same digest into a note the coach can edit before it goes, and the attention list gained a one-tap Message. Nothing is ever sent automatically.

  • Coaching

The coach invitation is a real email now, with honest sent and failed states on the roster, Copy code and Copy link beside each one, and a public page for the code itself. /join

  • Coaching

The first ten minutes have somewhere to go — a coach with no athletes is offered Invite and Import, a lifter who claims a profile lands on their own card, and an athlete nobody has programmed for can log a session anyway.

  • Coaching

The sheet shows the kilos: a percentage or an RPE prints its implied load in brackets off recent e1RM, the raw text is kept, missed rows tint amber, and a week or a whole block prints.

  • Coaching

The review queue shows its age — waiting-for-N-days chips, an oldest-wait line on the dashboard, and on the athlete’s side how long their coach usually takes, computed from the coach’s own median.

  • Coaching

A team whiteboard, opt-in on both sides: this week’s PRs and who trained, listed alphabetically, never ranked, never on the public team page.

  • Coaching

A check-in is a signal, not a chore. Due three days out, then due today, then overdue; the last readiness answers sit where the next session is decided; and a custom cadence of every N days works.

  • Coaching

A Sheets-grade grid under the programme: range selection, in-cell editing, clipboard, fill, undo and right-click menus.

  • Coaching

Actual load, reps and RPE columns sit beside the prescribed ones, fed by the sets the athlete logged.

  • Coaching

A block view beside the week view, custom columns, note rows, and free-text lift names that carry tags.

  • Coaching

Roster analytics for the coach: volume, compliance and attention across everyone on the roster.

  • Coaching

A handler view for a coach whose athletes are on an Attempt platform.

  • Coaching

Ask a question in plain language across everything the coach owns, and get an answer with the rows it was read from.

  • Coaching

The same palette opens on an athlete page, a session or a meet, scoped to what is on screen.

  • Coaching

Configurable check-ins: cadence, the questions asked, bodyweight and pain, with trends on the athlete page.

  • Coaching

Coach and athlete message in one thread that sits beside the training, not in a separate app.

  • Coaching

A review queue with timestamped text and voice notes, a compare view, filters, and Mark reviewed and next.

  • Coaching

An import wizard reads a week-grid workbook — tabs, weeks, sessions, sets — and maps it onto a block, with the mapping shown before anything is written.

  • Coaching

An imported programme is not second-class. Prescribed and actual sit in the same hierarchy whether the block was written here or uploaded.

  • Coaching

Blocks, weeks, sessions and sets in a grid editor, with copy-week, duplicate-block, and apply-week rescaled by the athlete’s e1RM.

  • Coaching

A per-athlete workflow mode, so one coach can programme natively for one lifter and from a sheet for another without changing products.

  • Coaching

Roster, invitations by code and by link, bulk invites, and coach onboarding that ends with an athlete on the roster.

  • Coaching

A command center that opens on the week’s attention list, the leads that came in and the messages waiting.

  • Coaching

Teams, with training visibility a coach sets per category, and a public team page. /teams
